Katherine Heigl Has Given Birth To A Baby Boy

Huge congratulations to Katherine Heigl, who gave birth to a baby boy over Christmas.

Acoording to People magazine Katherine and husband Josh Kelley welcomed their first son, Joshua Bishop Kelley, on December 20, after Katherine had hinted at a festive birth.

Katherine took to her blog 'Those Heavily things' on December 23rd to say: 'The Christmas holidays are a pretty big deal in my family and not only will we now be celebrating our baby's birthday around Christmas, Josh and I also celebrate our wedding anniversary December 23rd" 

"So it's a month full of joy and gratitude for us for many reasons!"

Katherine and Josh are already parents to two adopted daughters, 8-year-old Naleigh and 4-year-old Adalaide.

"We've known for a while that we wanted to add to our family and frankly didn't really care how we chose to do that. We were considering adoption again, fostering or pregnancy if possible," Katherine explained.

"Seeing as I have never been pregnant and, as my OB/GYN reminded me last year, I'm of advanced maternal age, I wasn't sure pregnancy was even in the cards for us. Turns out it was very much in the cards."

So another hug congratulations to Katherine and all the family.
