Kaley Cuoco Opens Up About Filming The Big Bang Theory With Ex Johnny Galecki

Kaley Cuoco on filming with her ex

Kaley Cuoco opened up about what it was like filming The Big Bang Theory with Johnny Galecki after they broke up.

She spoke about their relationship during an interview on Dax Shepard‘s Armchair Expert podcast.

Kaley played Penny in the show, while Johnny played Leonard.

As quoted by MailOnline, she told Dax on his podcast, "We dated really early on for almost two years."

"When we did the pilot, I was crushing so hard on Galecki, but he had a girlfriend."

It wasn't until one night they went out together for drinks that she realised the feeling was mutual.

Kaley revealed, "We got together and just fell mad for each other for two years, but then we broke up."

"Luckily Johnny and I came out of it so brilliantly and we're closer today than we ever were."

Around the time of their breakup, show creator Chuck Lorre had their characters get together on the show.

She recalled, "When we broke up obviously it was a little sensitive for a minute."

"But I remember those weeks that Chuck had written these episodes where all of a sudden our characters were like sleeping together every other second."

Kaley continued, "Johnny and I talk about it and I think [Chuck] did that on purpose - just to f**k with us."

"If I was with [Chuck now], I would ask him, because that came out of nowhere."

"All of a sudden these characters were all up on each other!"

What Kaley and Johnny are up to now

Kaley ended up meeting Karl Cook in 2016 and they tied the knot two years later.

It's safe to say Kaley and Johnny are on really good terms considering she shared a photo of him and Karl messing around on set.

She joked in the caption, 'get off my man!'

Meanwhile, Johnny welcomed a baby boy with girlfriend Alaina Meyer in December last year.

He shared the news on Instagram thanking his followers for all their, 'love and support.'

The happy couple have been together since 2018.
