Joey King and Jacob Elordi
The Kissing Booth's Joey King has seemingly called out her ex, Jacob Elordi for saying he hasn't seen the sequel.
Shortly after he made the revelation, she tweeted, 'Jacob watched it. He's capping.'
It all started when Variety caught up with Jacob for an interview.
They asked him to discuss the ending to The Kissing Booth 2 with them, but he couldn't because he hadn't seen it.
He very honestly replied, 'I haven't seen it. You’ve seen more than I have. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I haven’t.'
The actor went on to ask the interviewer if they liked the film's ending.
They replied, 'Yeah, it was cute.' But Jacob wasn't convinced, 'Be honest,' he said.
The Variety interviewer insisted, 'I thought it was better than the first one.'
Jacob made headlines over his comments.
And fans were pretty shocked considering he plays one of the lead roles of Noah Flynn in The Kissing Booth.
Joey gets involved
It wasn't long before Jacob's on screen girlfriend and off screen ex seemingly called him out on his comments.
In a since deleted tweet, as quoted by Us Weekly, Joey said, 'Jacob watched it. He's capping.'
The word, 'capping,' is slang for lying.
This comes shortly after Jacob responded to claims he looked miserable in the movie's sequel.
