It turns out Vernon Kay has been sending secret, 'signals,' to his wife Tess Daly from the I'm A Celeb castle.
She made the revelation on Instagram over the weekend.

Tess took to Instagram to share a video of her husband during one of the live trials.
In the clip, he runs up to the camera and waves hello to his little girls Phoebe and Amber watching at home.
Tess wrote in the caption that their children were so happy to see him on TV.

She said, 'Loved Vernon waving hello to Phoebe & Amber tonight! So sweet they loved it!'
In the comments section, Tess revealed, 'He touches his left ear as a signal for me.'

Tess added in another comment, 'they were so happy because it was the first time they were watching together it’s been a bit late for AMBER but it’s Friday night so she was allowed up!'
