Chris Evans has officially taken on his most heroic role yet — fatherhood. The Captain America star and his wife Alba Baptista have reportedly welcomed their first child together over the weekend in Massachusetts, according to TMZ.

The couple, who are famously private, haven’t revealed their baby’s name or gender — and in true Evans style, managed to keep the entire pregnancy completely under wraps. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the new parents to share their first official announcement.
Chris and Alba’s romance first made headlines in 2022 after years of quiet dating. They tied the knot in the summer of 2023 in a star-studded ceremony at Evans’ Boston-area home, joined by family, close friends, and several of his Marvel co-stars.
Evans, 44, has often spoken about his love for family life, calling fatherhood his “dream role.” In a past interview, he said, “Being a dad would be a dream role for me — I just hope I can be a superhero dad one day.”
The actor has also shared fond memories of his own childhood, recalling how his family would all sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve, watching holiday movies and soaking up the festive excitement.
Now, it seems Chris is ready to pass on those warm family traditions to the newest little Avenger in his life.
