Ariana Grande opens up

22 people died during a terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester two years ago.

The singer never fully recovered from the trauma and admits there's plenty she'll, 'probably never be ready to talk about.'

Ariana opens up about the struggles she's facing in an interview with Vogue this week.

'It's not my trauma. It's those families... their losses.'

She finds it difficult to open up in fear of reopening negative memories for the families involved.

'It's hard to just let it all out without thinking about them reading this and reopening the memory for them.'

One Love Manchester

Shortly after the attack, Ariana joined forces with industry legends to host a massive fundraising concert in Manchester.

Coldplay, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Niall Horan and many more artists showed their support at the gig.

The singer admits, 'I'm proud that we were able to raise a lot of money with the intention of giving people a feeling of love or unity.'

Despite the lengths she went to support the families involved, she still feels as if she did, 'nothing.'

'At the end of the day, it didn't bring anyone back.'

She goes on, 'Everyone was like, Wow, look at this amazing thing, and I was like, 'What the f*** are you guys talking about?''

'We did the best we could, but on a totally real level we did nothing. I'm sorry.'

The 26-year-old finds it difficult to open up and talk about what happened.

'I kind of just wanted to bury myself in work and not focus on the real stuff, because I couldn't believe it was real.'

Mac Miller

Ariana's ex boyfriend Mac Miller died in September last year leaving the singer devastated.

'I have to be the luckiest girl in the world, and the unluckiest, for sure.'

'I'm walking this fine line between healing myself and not letting the things that I've gone through be picked at before I'm ready.'

'And celebrating the beautiful things that have happened in my life and not feeling scared that they'll be taken away from me because trauma tells me that they will be...'

The singer says the months following Mac's death are all a blur, 'because I was (a) so drunk and (b) so sad.'
