Ariana Grande has slammed rumours of a romance with her ex boyfriend Ricky Alvarez.
The singer commented under a picture of Ricky on Instagram where he can be seen wearing a gold sweater.
She wrote 'these colors are sick'.
Fans then noted the pair were in New York at the same time so it wasn't long before they began speculating that the exes might be getting back together.
Ariana however, was quick to slam the rumours writing, 'we're friends everyone take a big ol breather.'
Grande and Alvarez dated for nearly a year back in 2015 when he served as her backup dancer.
According to Bustle, a source told E! News after they broke up that, "She broke up with him. He didn't cheat or anything, they just found it difficult to make it work. They are still friends though."
If her latest hit 'thank u, next' is anything to go by, she's taking a break from the dating life.
