According to Oprah's friends, she is 'actively thinking' of running for US presidency in 2020.
Winfrey has yet to confirm her intentions.

i've been a black woman for 30 years. I can smell when white people are condescendingly suggesting black female leadership/success, delighting in the "novelty" of us. This is just more of that. Pushing Oprah as president, instead of actually investing in and engaging with us.

My favorite part about the current political climate in America is we go straight from “Man, Oprah is really great I love her work, and what a great speech” to “YO YOU SHOULD BE FUCKIN PRESIDENT DUDE”.— Jamie Lono (@JamieLono) January 8, 2018
Um....Mama #Oprah running for President is a bad, bad idea. And I don't know how anyone who loves her thinks otherwise.

The earnest pro case for President Oprah: She is a popular and intelligent public figure with an inspiring personal story, who is also better at communicating than any other likely Democratic candidate.

I asked Stedman if @oprah would run for President. "It's up to the people. She would absolutely do it." https://t.co/rAficpB060
