All small brands and businesses based in Ireland can now apply to sell their products on TikTok.
The shop feature of the app is being extended, and shifting away from its previous "invite-only" system.
Until now, brands had to be invited to sell their products on the platform.
But now any company can apply.
The move comes as creators on the platform have earned a total of two million euro in commission through the shop feature since it launched in 2024.
Head of TikTok Shop Ireland Katey McElroy, says there will still be strict rules regarding the quality of products on sale.
