This might be the funniest thing we've seen on the internet this week.
With the Debs (or Prom as it's known in the States), there's always a big deal made out of it. For most it's their first formal do and it's a rite of passage in the eyes of many parents.
Making the grand entrance is also a thing, moreso across the pond than it is here although a good few couples would actually do it here.
This poor unfortunate young fella though, he and his date made the grand entrance and it couldn't have gone any worse for him:
