UPDATE: Ireland Edging Closer To Historic Referendum Result

Tallies around the country are showing a strong Yes vote in the abortion referendum.

There's a strong chance every single constituency may vote Yes.

In Dublin, all 5 constituencies in Dublin city centre are closing in on a 75% yes, while tallies in Dublin Bay South are suggesting a massive 80 percent.

Elsewhere around the country, some of the final tallies have come in, with the majority of constituencies edging towards a Yes vote.

The only county that remains tight is Donegal, where No is leading 52 to 48 after 48 thousand votes have been counted.

Minister for Health Simon Harris believes it's a 'significant day' for Ireland:
