Two People Fatally Stabbed In Finland

Two people have been killed and 6 injured after a man stabbed several people in the south-west of Finland.

It happened in the city of Turku this afternoon.

The suspected attacker's been shot and arrested, but Police are searching for other potential suspects.

Security at trains stations and at Helsinki airport is being stepped up.

Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipilä tweeted to say his government is closely monitoring the situation.

The Department of Foreign Affairs says there are no reports of Irish people being caught up in the incident.
