A protest is to take place in Cork tonight against the decision by London Irish to sign Paddy Jackson.

Munster host London Irish at Musgrave Park, and despite Jackson not being selected, the protest will go ahead.

The 27-year-old was acquitted of rape and sexual assault at a high-profile trial in Belfast last year.

Linda Hayden, Founder of Action Against Sexual Violence Ireland, says Jackson isn't an appropriate role model for youngsters.

Earlier in the year drinks giant Diageo cancelled its sponsorship of London Irish due to the signing of the former Ireland international.
