Over half of single people looking to date during the pandemic prefer to do it locally.

Bumble has posted the results of a survey it has run with the OnePoll company on dating.

So 52% of singles who are on the look out for dates during this pandemic would prefer that it's close to home.

However 45% say they'd be hesitant to go out if it's too far away.

Socially Distant Date Anyone?

Bumble has also added a feature whereby users can choose what types of dates they want to go on.

  • Virtual only dates.
  • Socially distant dates.
  • Socially distant dates with masks.

Naomi Walkland, Head of UK and Ireland at Bumble said:

“There’s an emerging trend of people looking to meet and date others locally to where they live and are most comfortable in."
