A man in his late 20s is is in a critical condition following a serious assault in Cork yesterday evening.
It's believed he was stabbed in the Glenwood estate in Carrigaline just before 6pm.
He was removed from the scene and taken to Cork University Hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries.
A man in his late teens has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being questioned at Togher garda station.
Gardaí appealing for witnesses - particularly anyone who may have video footage, including dash cam footage - of the incident to come forward.
