Jeremy Renner has thanked everyone for their support but says he's too messed up to type after an accident.
The marvel actor was run over by a snow plough while trying to clear footpaths after a massive winter storm in Reno, Nevada.
Police stressed they believe it was a "tragic accident" involving a 'PistenBully' type snowplough.
The equipment has been seized by police to see if there was any mechanical failure.
"A normal part of any investigation," they said.
In a post on Instagram, Jeremy says;
"Thank you for all your kind words. I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
