Irish Radio Stations, Including SPIN South West Unite Today, To Remember Dolores O' Riordan.

As a tribute to Dolores O’Riordan, IBI and RTÉ 2FM are organising a simultaneous play of “When You’re Gone” by the Cranberries after the midday news today (Tuesday).

The broadcast will coincide with her funeral mass which begins at 1130.
Dolores will be laid to rest today at St Ailbe’s Church, Ballybricken followed by a private family burial.

Micheal D. Higgins attended the removal yesterday and said;

“It’s so profoundly sad that someone so young is taken from us"

He added;

“Limerick is very very proud of [her]. As her teachers have been saying, she was a star that shone bright from the very beginning, and I wish her peace. Our sympathies go out to her mother, Eileen, and her family."

SPIN South West will join with other radio stations today and pay tribute to Dolores O’Riordan in the best way we can – on the air.
