The company is, "removing all effects from the gallery associated with plastic surgery".
It also said it is, "stopping further approval of new effects like this."
Spark AR, the augmented reality platform that creates filters, said it is re-evaluating its, “existing policies as they relate to well-being”.
The company wants those who use their effects to have a “positive experience”.
It's not clear when the filters will be removed from users' accounts.
