George Floyd Protests: In Pictures

Protests erupted across the United States after the death of George Floyd on Monday May 25th.

Mr. Floyd died while police were in the process of arresting him, as a white officer knelt on his neck.

While figures including Mr. Floyd's brother have appealed against rioting, some protests have turned violent.

This has sparked President Trump to threaten using US Army units to disperse crowds.
