A further nine people with Covid-19 have died in the Republic, and there are 46 new confirmed cases.
The death toll stands at 1,639.

The total number of cases is 24,841.
The Government says people should avoid crowded areas as the good weather continues into the bank holiday weekend.
People are asked to keep the current public health guidelines in mind before going to parks or beaches.
