Banks Agree To Defer Mortgages & Business Loans

The five main banks have agreed a three-month suspension of mortgage and business loan repayments for customers affected by Covid 19.

Also bank representatives are working on a new application process, to make it easier for people to get support.

Covid-19 applications will not impact credit records and banks will delay court proceedings for three months.

Banks Come Together

The heads of AIB, Bank of Ireland, KBC, Ulster Bank and Permanent TSB sat down with Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe earlier.

They have come together to help their customers who have been financially impacted by the spread of COVID19.
