2 Killed After Earthquake On Popular Greek Island

Two people have died and more than 120 are injured after a powerful earthquake hit a Greek resort, popular with Irish tourists

The 6.5 magnitude quake struck on the island of Kos while people were sleeping, causing several buildings to collapse.

70 people were taken to hospital in the neighbouring Turkish resort of Bodrum as they were injured trying to escape.

It's unclear if there's any Irish people involved in the quake, but the Irish Embassy in the Greek capital, Athens, say they're monitoring it:
