20th Century Fox has all but confirmed that they are hoping to release two new films in 2018. Despite most fans expecting a new film in the X-Men franchise, they are planning on releasing new Marvel films.
The two films that 20th Century Fox are expecting to release are Deadpool 2 and New Mutants. This news was confirmed by long time X-Men writer Simon Kinberg.
Kinberg told ‘Collider’ about what’s happening with Deadpool 2,
“We have a really good script for that movie, and we’re into the casting process right now for some new characters.”
It’s not all bad news for X-Men fans as the next film in the franchise ‘X-Men: Supernova’ – is rumoured to start filming this year.
