Beaker is Back!
One of our fav childhood characters is set to return to our screens for the first time in six years for a one-off special!
Next Friday 7th December is the day Tracy Beaker will return to CBBC for the spin-off show The Dumping Ground.
Speaking to The Sun, Dani said:
You don't realise when you have your first child how difficult trying to find childcare is, it's crazy, especially with a job like mine. It definitely takes an army. We all pitch in and it's sometimes a bit like pass the baby but luckily she loves her family and it actually helps her development.
She also admitted that sometimes people can't separate her from her character. Dani said:
I do have the odd occasion where people actually think I am Tracy Beaker in real life and the whole thing is real. And I just put it down to the fact that we really did a great job on that programme.
Recently, author Jacqueline Wilson revealed the latest book in the Tracy Beaker series 'My Mum Tracy Beaker'.
In the new book, Tracy is a single mother to 10-year-old Jess who is actually the same age that Tracy was when Jacqueline first started writing about her.
Jacqueline told OK!:
Although this story is about Jess, I have had fun introducing characters from Tracy's past, like boyfriends or her worst enemy Justine Littlewood.
