Andrew Garfield could be playing Jesus in an upcoming film!
According to Variety, Andrew and Miles Teller are reportedly being eyed for roles in 'Life of Jesus' based off Shūsaku Endō’s 1973 book, 'A Life of Jesus'.
However, It’s unclear if Andrew will be playing the role of Jesus or one of his disciples - Which is a sentence I never thought I'd write!
The film is set to be independently financed and directed by Martin Scorsese, who is also reportedly working on a Frank Sinatra biopic.
Variety reports, filming will take place in Israel, Italy and Egypt and production is set to start later this year.
