Snapchat are taking things to the next level, and are launching their very own TV shows, direct to your phone.

Snap Inc (the name of the company behind Snapchat) revealed that it has joined forces with NBCUniversal. It will begin to create new content to stream on the app.

They're planning to make the episodes between 3 and 5 minutes long. This isn't the first time the company has done something like this. They've produced an Emmy-nominated version of The Voice US, which involved hopefuls submitting entry videos straight from their phones.

A few months ago, MTV revived Cribs in the 'Discover' section of the app, too.

The new content will reportedly slot into the 'Shows' section.

Mark Duplass will be involved in the first episode. He said 'We're super psyched to partner with Snap and NBCUniversal. For us, shooting in that vertical mobile format is a terrifying and thrilling creative challenge.'
