Ryan Murphy says the next season of the AHS anthology will be a cross-over of arguably the two most popular seasons of the series- season one's 'Murder House' and season's three 'Coven.'
'Murder House' saw a family move into a haunted mansion in Los Angeles, while the third season followed a girl who is sent to a special academy in New Orleans after discovering she is a witch.
The 'Glee' creator tweeted from his official Twitter account that we can expect to see the new season hit our screens in September.
The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won't be happening next year...because it's happening THIS YEAR. AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER

Murphy has said that mainstays like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates will return to the screen for season 8 but we aren't sure whether or not they will reprise their character's from these cross-over seasons.
We can only hope that Evan Peters returns as the troubled Tate!
