Netflix has announced a brand new series with Kneecap director, Rich Peppiatt.
The series is inspired by the literary works of "Bad Bridget" by Elaine Farrell and Leanne McCormick called, Bad Bridgets.
British actress Emilia Jones and our very own Alison Oliver were the first of the cast to be announced.
Now they will be joined alongside: Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things, Industry) Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina, Echo Valley) Himesh Patel (Yesterday, The Odyssey) Niamh Algar (The Iris Affair, Mary & George) Simone Kirby (Kneecap, His Dark Materials) with Steve Coogan (Philomena, Legends) and Colin Farrell (Banshees of Inisherin, In Bruges).
The synopsis reads: "When a mysterious letter offering escape leads a young Irish woman to 19th-century New York, she is pulled into the unruly world of the Bridgets, where mayhem follows in her wake."
