It looks like Maura will be taking over hosting duties from Caroline Flack for the Winter edition of Love Island.

This follows the news that Caroline Flack was arrested and charged with assault of her boyfriend.

There had been speculation that Maya Jama or Laura Whitmore could be replacing Flack in the dating show. With both Maura and Maya posting aeroplane pic, sparking even more talk.

Maura said she was off to "shoot something very exciting..."

She has since posted to her Instagram stories claiming she had a 13 hour shoot day.
