The Irish star recently exploded in popularity in the US, after appearing on The Traitors US.
Now ABC are said to be looking for a new star to film the series, following the recent cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul’s season amid allegations of domestic violence.

According to celebrity gossip account Deux Moi: "ABC exec friend said that they are looking into getting Maura Higgins to be the new bachelorette and do a live shooting of it."
The anonymous tip also shut down claims that bosses were set to replace Taylor’s series with her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives co-stars Layla and Miranda adding: "They shut down Layla and Miranda as a dual season and are trying to steer away from the SSOMW girlies"
