Former islander Eyal Brooker has spoken out in defence of the producers of Love Island. It's after viewers were left raging on Monday following the treatment of Dani Dyer.
She was shown a video of Jack living with his ex-girlfriend Ellie, and she flipped the lid. Viewers were fuming that she wasn't show the fact that Jack was sleeping outside and staying completely loyal. You can catch up .
According to , Eyal has said that what the producers did was fair.
Speaking at BUILD in London, he said 'In the show's defence, before we went in to the villa they told us this is a show about testing you within your relationships and within your couple. Jack and Dani up until that point had never been tested. Nothing that Dani was shown didn't happen. It was just a very short clip. And within that villa you overthink everything... But she stood by her beliefs.'
Ofcom reportedly received 650 complaints in the first 24 hours following that episode.
