It was an Irish affair!
The Irish premiere for Hamnet starring our very own Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley took place at the Light House Cinema, Dublin on Saturday (13th Dec).
The Irish actors, director and co-screenwriter Chloé Zhao and author Maggie O’Farrell were all smiles as they walked the orange carpet.

The acclaimed Shakespeare drama synopsis reads: "After losing their son Hamnet to plague, Agnes and William Shakespeare grapple with grief in 16th-century England. A healer, Agnes must find strength to care for her surviving children while processing her devastating loss."
Earlier this week, both Paul and Jessie received Golden Globe nominations for their "emotional" performances.
Jessie was shortlisted for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, while Paul was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
Hamnet is set to drop to cinemas the 9th of January, 2026 - So set your alarms!
