One of the biggest night in the music calendar is the BRIT awards. Here's everything you need to know about the night.

When is the BRIT Awards 2019?

The BRIT Awards are kicking off on 20 February 2019, at London's The O2, but if you're not fortunate enough to get tickets, you can watch the action from home on ITV. Who is hosting the BRIT Awards 2019?

Comedian Jack Whitehall is set to return as host, after looking after the ceremony last year, where Stormzy and Dua Lipa were the big winners on the night.

 

Shipwrecked's Vick Hope will also be covering the event on YouTube.

In previous years, the annual awards show has been hosted by the likes of Russell Brand, Dermot O'Leary, Emma Willis & Ant and Dec.

Who Is Performing At The BRITs?

Hugh Jackman

It was announced on Valentine's Day that Hugh Jackman would be opening the 2019 BRITs with a special performance of a hit track from The Greatest Showman.

Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris is set to headline at the BRITs this year.

The Scottish DJ is going to put on a series of show-stopping performances, joining forces with Rag'n'Bone Man, Due Lipa and Sam Smith.

Little Mix

X-Factor winners are set to perform on the night with speculation that they'll perform their hit 'What About Us'.

The 1975

The 1975 last performed at the BRIT Awards in 2017, The same year that they won the awards for British Group and British Album.

This year, they're in the running for the same categories.

Ms Banks

Ms Banks is making her BRITs debut this February, and is anticipated to perform her hit 'Day Ones'.

P!nk

Not only did P!nk recently get her very own star on the walk of fame but she will be awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Music this Wednesday at the BRITs.

The star will also be performing on stage, Maybe she'll even dazzle us with her rendition of The Greatest Showman's A Million Dreams, given the opening act of this year's event.

When Are the BRIT Awards 2019?

The 2019 BRITs kick off on 20 February and are being held at the O2 Arena in London.

But don't worry if you've not bagged yourself a ticket - you can catch all the action on ITV.

How can I buy tickets to the BRIT Awards 2019?

Owners of a Mastercard were able to buy tickets from 4th December 2018 up until the 20th December 2018. Tickets are on sale now to the general public.
