Following on from Sarah Koenig's gripping true-crime podcast Serial, which saw thousands come forward to support Adnan and claim his innocence in a kidnap and murder case they believe he did not commit.

Adnan's Case
Adnan has been behind bars since 2000. He was convicted for the kidnapping and murder of his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee.
While his murder conviction has been overturned since then, prosecutors appealed the decision meaning he remains in prison still.
His defence team argued that his original lawyer provided ineffective representation in court and that a mobile phone linking him to the murder was faulty. This resulted in a new trial in 2016.
