We knew it!

Research published by the British Medical Journal found that certain emotions are linked with certain drinks.

They studied  30,000 people between the ages of 18 to 24, they found that those who drink beer and wine felt far more relaxed than those who drank certain spirits.

It came to light that nearly one third of Gin & Whiskey drinkers felt emotions of sadness & agression in comparsion to only 2.5% of people who drink red wine.

Cool it on the gin & tonics.

According to alcohol psychologist Paul Toner,;

"Alcohol is a sedative, and depresses the central nervous system, therefore making people less able to regulate their thoughts and feelings. If you are feeling emotional about something, you are more likely to express this without normal inhibitions."

He also noted that drinking too much, too fast can also result in overwhelming feelings and mood swings.

Interesting!
