The kids are back to school. Here are some tips to help you get the little ones back to school stress- free.
Going ‘Back to School’ shouldn’t have to mean ‘Back to Stress’! Taking the time to carefully plan, you can get the kids up & at ‘em and out the door, before they know what’s going on!
You might like the thought of ‘Back to School’ but your kids? Hmm…not so much! Their Summer holidays are over, ease them into the school year by involving them in as much as the process as possible.
What would they like in their lunch?... What do they want to do after school? And what treat would they like at the end of the week? With a balanced, after-school routine, the kids will still have time for a snack, relaxation, play, and homework!
Our tip is to maybe get them to read at least one book in the first few weeks of being back to school. Get the minds kicking back into action again.
Back to School doesn’t have to mean ‘Back to Boring’ for your kids. Let them have their playtime, but set your rules on screen time for the school year.
What's allowed and when? And remove TVs and game consoles from homework areas. Just sayin’!
