Robbie Williams Stuns Fans With Surprise Street Performance Ahead of World Cup Gig

Robbie Williams has left fans delighted after unexpectedly taking to the streets of Seville for an impromptu performance of one of his biggest hits.

The Angels singer was spotted busking with a guitarist he had seemingly just met, treating passers-by to an acoustic rendition of his iconic ballad. A video of the surprise performance quickly began circulating online with fans praising the star’s laid-back approach.

Robbie appeared completely at ease as he sang in the middle of the Spanish city. Reading the lyrics from his phone, the 52-year-old laughed when the performance briefly lost its rhythm, joking that he could have done with a little help on the chords.

Another musician soon stepped in to assist, helping turn the spontaneous singalong into a memorable moment for the growing crowd gathered around the former Take That star.

While it’s unclear exactly when the street performance took place, Robbie had been in Seville just days earlier for his headline performance at the Icónica Sevilla Fest on June 30, leading many fans to believe the surprise busking session happened during his stay in the city.

The intimate performance comes as Robbie gears up for one of the biggest appearances of his career. The singer is set to perform at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final on July 19 alongside Laura Pausini, where the pair will perform the tournament’s official anthem, Desire.

The historic final, taking place at MetLife Stadium, will also feature the first-ever halftime show in FIFA World Cup history. The entertainment line-up has reportedly been curated by Chris Martin and is expected to include performances from Madonna, Shakira and BTS.
