And the nominees are...
The 23rd annual IFTA Awards (Irish Film and Television Academy) are returning to Dublin and the star studded list of nominees have been announced!
The ceremony is Ireland's own Oscars, celebrating the very best of Irish talent in film and TV across 29 categories from the past year.
The Awards Ceremony is set to take place on Friday, the 20th of February, 2025 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, hosted for a second year by comedian, actor and broadcaster Kevin McGahern.

Christy leads the film categories with 14 nominations, including in the Best Film, acting and directing races. Saipan follows with 12 nominations, while Blue Moon has eight, Four Mothers has seven and Irish-language feature Aontas has six.
Elsewhere, Cillian Murphy, Jessie Buckley and Colin Farrell to name a few are all up for an award.
