Last night during a live TV show, the nominations for this year's BRIT Awards were finally revealed.

Little Mix are leading the way with the most nominations, alongside Skepta. Both are up for awards in three different categories and are hoping to win their first ever BRIT award.

David Bowie is nominated in two categories - Best British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year. While the late Leonard Cohen has landed his first ever BRIT Award nomination for International Male Solo Artist.

There will be a little bit of sibling rivalry this year, as Beyoncé is battling it out with her baby sister Solange, in a bid to take home the award for International Female Solo Artist.

The 1975, Calvin Harris, Coldplay, Jonas Blue and Clean Bandit each received two nominations across the board.

Interestingly, this year the award for British Artist Video of the Year sees Zayn pitted against former band-mates One Direction, as 'Pillowtalk' is nominated alongside 'History'. Who will take home the crown? Well, you can help decide that, as this award is the only one that can be decided by the public - by using Twitter hashtags. Just to double the awkwardness for Zayn, Little Mix are also up for that award.
