McFly fans are having a terrible time at the moment..
They've been hit with the realisation that the band may be over. It's after bassist Dougie Poynter revealed that he's started a new side project and is now in a band called INK.
Fans are now begging the band for answers, and for them to confirm whether it's over for the time being at least.
McFly's last album was Above the Noise in 2010. Over the years, they've dropped hints that a sixth album would be coming soon, but, that never materialised.
Imagine being a mcfly fan, waiting six years for an album the band said they’d done, and then hearing no more about it and the band split up anyway 😂😂 that is tragic, I’d honestly be so angry at the band wow

One of the questions on the music quiz on the radio today was 'Tom Fletcher & his wife are expecting their 3rd child, but what band was he in?' WAS?! McFly are still a thing! May not seem like it sometimes but i don't want to lose faith in them & they certainly haven't split up!

McFly tweeted to congratulate Dougie on his new project and told fans they're 'looking forward to working on a new record some time in the future'.
We as McFly just want to say how much we support Dougie and wish him well with his new band INK.
Even though we are all working on solo projects in 2018, McFly are still looking forward to working on a new record some time in the future.— mcfly (@mcflymusic)
Some fans are still living in the hope that this isn't the end..
Take That had a ten-year break and came back bigger and better than before. Everyone needs to quit trying to bring these guys down when all they are doing is living their lives to the fullest. Let them enjoy seeing their young ones grow up. Let them explore new areas of interest!
