Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have been confirmed for the 2018 NYC Fashion Show.
The pair are set to reclaim their wings this Winter, after being MIA for the 2017 show. Brian Atwood, the man behind the show's killer heels, took to instagram to welcome the besties back. Kendall, who missed out on last years run due to her contract with rival lingerie line, La Perla, looks ready to take the catwalk as the infamous show returns to NYC. In one post, Atwood proclaimed his excitement for the Jenner sister's return, 'Can’t wait to see this beauty @kendalljenner strutting in my shoes for the @victoriassecret fashion show... less than a month away!!!!'
This return home to the Big Apple may be due to the controversy that the Shanghai show caused last year. Gigi Hadid had to hang up her wings in 2017 as she was refused entry to China. This was as a result of the controversial video that did the rounds of Hadid mocking a Buddha cookie. But it looks like Gigi will also be joining her bestie this year as Atwood also confirmed the model's return. He wrote in a separate post 'Less than 1 month away!!!! Let’s do this @gigihadid @victoriassecretCan’t wait to show you what we have done for the show!!!!' along side a throwback picture of Hadid walking in the 2016 show.
Although neither model have confirmed the news for themselves, it seems these posts are the proof we were waiting for. Also confirmed for the 2018 show are Behati Prinsloo, Barbara Palvin and Winnie Harlow.
