Ah leave it out!
Cillian Murphy and his wife, Yvonne McGuinness's redevelopment of the Phoenix Cinema in Dingle has been delayed due to appeals made by locals.
The Phoenix cinema, which opened in 1919, and closed in 2021 during Covid-19, was bought by the pair in 2024.
Cillian said: "My dad saw movies there when he was a young man before me, and we’ve watched many films at the Phoenix with our own kids."

"We want to open the doors again, expand the creative potential of the site, re-establishing its place in the cultural fabric of this unique town," Yvonne added.
According to the Irish Times, some of the reasons for the objections include concerns regarding the size of the development and the impact it will have on parking in the area.
One local also questioned why the space wasn’t being redeveloped into housing instead.
The planning commission is due to decide on the appeal by the 27th of July, 2026.
