Barry Keoghan has broken his silence on the claims that he cheated on Sabrina Carpenter.
If you didn’t know, the Irish actor and 'House Tour' singer dated on and off for a year and broke up in December 2024.
Speaking on the latest episode of Benny Blanco's 'Friends Keep Secrets' podcast with Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco, he opened up about taking a step back from the spotlight.
He said: "I feel in a safe space to say this… but I have been avoiding stuff,’ he said, explaining he had come off Instagram, stopped attending events and pulled back from socialising."
"There was a narrative out there that was never really sort of even spoken on, a narrative that’s not true, and I never confirmed or said anything about it. And I just disappeared."
The 'Saltburn' actor continued: "I don’t want to ever bring anyone else into it. Unfortunately, having a relationship in the public eye…it gets put out there. [It gets] amplified."
Referencing a video posted by Breckie Hill, during which she denied the claims that she was involved with Barry and confessed she hadn’t met the actor he said: "You see the narrative, a girl made a video and then the girl made the same video and said sorry for making that up but no one seemed to latch on to that video."
