Nicole Scherzinger has dropped her biggest hint yet that she may not be returning to he X Factor next year.
In a recent interview with The Mirror Nicole spoke about being lonely, her packed schedule and needing more time for herself.
"If I don't come back it's not because I don't love it," she said. "It's because I'm a singer first. Every artist needs that time out to reflect."
Nicole added that she finds it very difficult to balance her career with her personal life, saying "it's hard".
"It can be lonely," she said. "I'm always on the road, always by myself. I think anybody in this industry feels lonely."
"This has been a very transitional year for me – career-wise and personally," she said.
"Anybody who's successful in what they do is making sacrifices."
The X factor steps up a notch next weekend with the live shows kicking off Saturday night.
