Kim Kardashian Defends Dressing North West In A 'Corset'

Kim Kardashian West has been forced to defend herself after coming under fire for dressing her 4-year-old daughter in what appeared to be a corset.

One person hit out at the reality star, saying: "Why would anyone think dressing a small child like that is ok?" Someone else said: "Obviously it's not a waist trainer as such, just looks like one but it's still wrong to dress a child like this!"

Another added: "It's sick for a 4-year-old kid to wear corsets, it sends out the wrong message. Get her wearing a Minnie Mouse T shirt!"

Defending her decision in a Snapchat story, Kim said: "This dress – that I did not design, I actually bought – is not a corset, it's just fabric on the front that looks like a corset.

"So I think it's really cute, I bought it from a designer and it's just fabric people, it's not a real corset."

And taking to Twitter, Kim continued: "I would never put my daughter in a corset!

"It's a dress I bought that is a cotton fabric that laces up & looks like a corset! Just decoration".

She later tweeted a photo of the dress with the caption: "Just decoration. Not a real corset."
