Young people from all over the country have gathered in Dublin today to speak out on issues that affect their mental health and wellbeing.
The young people who came together for the event have been participating throughout the year as part of The Youth Advocate Programme Ireland. The theme for today's annual event is 'Mind Yourself, Mind Each Other: Young People Speak Out on Improving Mental health and Wellbeing."
The event held in Croke Park is an opportunity for a collaboration of voices to come together to share experiences and to express their feelings.
"It's like pushing things under the carpet if you keep putting all that under the carpet eventually it's going to pile up and you're going to just burst, so from a young age even young in primary school these things need to be talked about."
