Report suggests we could have female Taoiseach by 2025

A new study on the future of Ireland finds that people think we'll have a female Taoiseach by 2025.

The report also found that people are generally feeling optimistic about where the country will be in 10 years time.

Maria Walsh, who was the first openly gay Rose of Tralee, was at the launch of today's report.

Maria, who supported the same sex marriage referendum, says she wouldn't rule out becoming involved in politics:
