Today marks a special date for some, maybe it reminds them of a film, maybe it is just any other Friday, but there are those who will have their wits about them.

People hoping to attempt some DIY on Friday the 13th are being urged to use tools with the CE Mark for safety standards.

Around one hundred and twenty-four thousand admissions to Emergency Departments in Ireland, every year are due to home and leisure incidents, according to EuroSafe.

As well as DIY superstitions new research from Daft.ie shows that number 13 houses are cheaper, while 13.7% fewer transactions take place on Friday the 13th.
