The Conjuring 2 is in cinemas nationwide from 17th June with previews at selected cinemas from 13th. Judging by the trailer, it’s going to be the scariest horror movie yet.

The Blair Witch Project kicked off the found-footage genre. It's one of the most successful independent films of all time, making $248 million worldwide on a tiny budget.

Before we get to the scariest of the lot, we must give a nod to The Conjuring. This is the only movie that could possibly prepare us for The Conjuring 2! It is the true story of Ed and Lorraine Warren, world renowned paranormal investigators, who were called to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse.
So now for the Mother and Father of all horrors. When a teenage girl is possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her daughter.
This one is TERRIFYING. You've been warned!
