Westlife are getting back together after calling it a day in 2012, however Brian McFadden will not be part of the reunion.

According to the Sun, the quartet of Shane, Mark, Cian and Nicky have signed a new deal with Universal.

Before they disbanded, the group had 14 number one singles in the UK as well as 50 million record sales worldwide.

They will take to the stage for the first time since their farewell tour dates in Croke Park six years ago.

An insider told the newspaper:

"It’s signed, sealed and delivered and it’s definitely happening — and it absolutely does not include Brian McFadden."

"The other guys have been lined up to return to the studio and record some new songs and tour dates have even been organised, so it’s definitely going ahead this time."
